Job summary

GTN Technical Staffing is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support a global network spanning office, data center, and co-location environments. This hands-on role requires deep Cisco and Arista expertise, advanced troubleshooting, and a practical approach to network automation.

You will collaborate with Network Engineering, Data Center, Security, and DevOps teams to ensure reliable connectivity, scalable designs, and a resilient infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Proven experience engineering and operating large-scale enterprise or data center networks.
• Hands-on expertise with Cisco and Arista hardware and software (IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS, EOS).
• In-depth knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN, and MPLS with implementation experience.
• Practical experience with SD-WAN, segment routing, and multi-tenant environments.
• Scripting & automation basics with Python, Ansible, Jinja2, and Git.
• Strong diagnostic skills, packet analysis, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain scalable, highly available network infrastructure using Cisco and Arista platforms.
• Configure routing, switching, fabrics, and connectivity across data center and co-location environments.
• Deploy and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN, MPLS; lead design reviews and production rollouts.
• Support WAN with IOS-XR, segment routing, SD-WAN; ensure global connectivity reliability.
• Lead complex troubleshooting; use telemetry, logs, and performance data to isolate faults.
• Automate provisioning, validation, and operations; contribute to IaC and CI/CD workflows.
