Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our elite Cyber & Analytics team supporting mission-critical national security programs. You will lead advanced network design, troubleshooting, and optimization from a centralized environment, mentoring junior engineers and shaping network strategy.

The role requires CCNA/CCNP, TS/SCI with Polygraph, and 12–15 years of experience. On-site work in Laurel, with competitive compensation and extensive employee benefits.

Qualifications

• 12-15 years of network engineering experience or equivalent in the field.
• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• CCNA and CCNP certifications required.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities for junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced network troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Analyze and optimize network performance, latency, and throughput.
• Design scalable, secure network architectures.
• Work with routing protocols such as BGP and policy-based routing.
• Evaluate emerging networking technologies for integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on mission-driven solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers (Levels 0–2) and drive engineering excellence.
