Job summary

DNI (Delaware Nation Industries) seeks a skilled security/engineering professional to support the DS mission. You will evaluate technologies, test vulnerabilities, design networks, and implement secure lab infrastructure in a government context.

The role requires strong Windows server experience, scripting, and multiple languages, plus knowledge of security best practices and clearance readiness.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience and a master’s degree in computer science or engineering, or at least ten years of equivalent work experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
• Must be fluent in VMWare, C, C++, Objective C, Java, communication protocol implementation, Wi‑Fi, RFID, Bluetooth, TCP‑IP, VoIP, and Linux/Windows/OSX scripting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new technologies and possible security vulnerabilities associated with them.
• Assist in planning policies involving state-of-the-art equipment and their implementation in State Department resources.
• Responsible for testing vulnerabilities in software applications and hardware for networks.
• Designs and deploys network and video infrastructure cabling.
• Analyze computer and network architectures to optimize performance and security.
• Document testing procedures, results, and recommendations for senior managers.
