Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Senior Network Engineer to support the DLA IOEE/IOSEE program in Springfield, VA. This hybrid role expects weekly office presence or as needed by mission requirements, with duties spanning network design, implementation, and modernization efforts.

The role requires 5+ years of related experience, a Bachelor’s Degree (or 4 years substitution), active Secret clearance, and current IAT III, CCNP-E, and CCSA certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree; 4 years of additional experience may substitute for degree.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Active Secret clearance with favorable Tier 5 investigation.
• Current IAT Level III, CCNP-E, and CCSA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, perform, and document lab assessments of hardware/software for DISN connectivity.
• Coordinate with government customer to create Technology Assessment Plan (TAP).
• Prepare After Action Reports documenting approach, results, and recommendations.
• Identify new and emerging network capabilities and develop evaluation criteria.
• Develop system evaluation methods and procedures.
• Produce documentation for executive briefings.
