Job summary

Breezeline in Quincy, MA is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, operate, and secure complex wired and wireless networks across data centers and locations. You will work with FortiGate/Juniper SRX firewalls, Cisco switching and wireless, and F5 load balancers to ensure high availability and security.

The role requires expertise in BGP/OSPF, DNS, VPNs, and multi-vendor environments, with collaboration across security, systems, and cloud teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in network administration or network engineering in enterprise or service-provider environments.
Hands-on experience with FortiGate/Juniper firewalls, Cisco switching, and F5 load balancers.
Experience designing scalable, secure wired and wireless network infrastructures.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network architectures (LAN/WAN, data centers, Internet-edge).
Administer, configure, and troubleshoot FortiGate/Juniper SRX firewalls, policies, NAT, VPNs.
Configure Cisco Layer 2/3 switching, VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, inter-VLAN routing.
Deploy and optimize Cisco/Ruckus wireless networks (controller-based & cloud-managed).
Design, implement IPsec/SSL VPN solutions for site-to-site and remote access.
