Job summary

Breezeline is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, operate, and secure complex wired and wireless networks across multiple data centers and locations.

Based in Quincy, MA, you will manage FortiGate/Juniper firewalls, Cisco switches, wireless networks, F5 load balancers, and VPNs, collaborating with security, systems, and cloud teams to ensure high availability and security. This role offers challenging projects, on-call rotation, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in network administration/engineering in enterprise or service-provider environments.
• Hands-on experience with FortiGate/Junos firewalls, Cisco/Cisco wireless, and F5 Load Balancers.
• Experience designing and supporting IPsec/SSL VPNs, BGP/OSPF, and Anycast DNS deployments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-vendor networks in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network architectures (LAN/WAN/WLAN/DC).
• Administer FortiGate/Juniper SRX firewalls, policies, NAT, VPNs.
• Configure Cisco layer 2/3 switching, VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, inter-VLAN routing.
• Manage Cisco/Ruckus wireless networks (controller-based and cloud-managed).
• Deploy and optimize F5 Load Balancers (DNS/GTM a plus).
• Design and troubleshoot routing protocols (BGP/OSPF).
• Support IPsec/SSL VPN solutions for site-to-site and remote access.
• Operate DNS services in anycast environments.
• Collaborate with security, systems, cloud, and application teams.
