Job summary

Breezeline is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, operate, and secure complex wired, wireless, and Internet-facing networks across multiple data centers and locations. The role requires deep expertise in enterprise routing, firewalling, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and security appliances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in network administration or network engineering within enterprise or service-provider environments.
• Hands-on experience administering FortiGate and Juniper firewalls, Cisco switching, and wireless networks with F5 load balancers.
• Experience designing and supporting IPsec/SSL VPNs for site-to-site and remote access.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network architectures including LAN, WAN, wireless, data center, and Internet-edge environments.
• Administer, configure, and troubleshoot FortiGate/Juniper SRX firewalls, including policies, NAT, routing, and VPNs.
• Configure, maintain, and support Cisco Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, inter-VLAN routing).
• Deploy, operate, and optimize Cisco and Ruckus wireless networks (controller-based and cloud-managed WLAN, RF tuning, roaming).
• Deploy, operate, and support F5 Load Balancers (LTM; DNS/GTM experience a plus).
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot BGP/OSPF; manage IPsec/SSL VPN solutions; ensure DNS in Anycast environments.
• Collaborate with security, systems, cloud, and application teams to support business objectives.
