Job summary

Breezeline is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, operate, and secure complex wired, wireless, and Internet-facing networks across multiple data centers and locations. You will oversee routing, firewalling, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and high-density wireless deployments.

The role requires deep expertise with multi-vendor hardware, IPsec/SSL VPNs, and scalable network architectures. This hybrid position in Quincy, MA offers on-call rotation and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 5+ years in enterprise networking or service-provider environments.
• Hands-on with FortiGate, Juniper, Cisco, Ruckus, and F5 equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network architectures (LAN/WAN/WLAN/Data Center).
• Configure FortiGate/Juniper firewalls, NAT, VPNs, and security policies.
• Manage Cisco Layer 2/3 switching, VLANs, spanning tree, and inter-VLAN routing.
• Deploy and optimize Cisco/Ruckus wireless networks (WLAN design, RF tuning).
• Operate F5 Load Balancers; DNS/DNS Anycast support (DNS/GTM a plus).
• Design dynamic routing protocols (BGP/OSPF); IPsec/SSL VPNs for site-to-site/remote access.
• Troubleshoot multi-vendor networks; ensure high availability and performance.
• Maintain network diagrams, docs, and standards; collaborate with security, systems, cloud teams.
