Job summary

Breezeline seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, operate, and secure complex wired, wireless, and Internet-facing networks across multiple data centers. You will manage FortiGate/Juniper firewalls, Cisco switching, and wireless environments, ensuring high availability and security.

The role covers VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and collaboration with security and cloud teams. Based in Quincy, MA, with on-call rotation expectations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years in network administration or engineering in enterprise or service-provider environments.
Hands-on with FortiGate/Juniper firewalls, Cisco L2/L3 switching, Cisco/Ruckus wireless, F5 load balancers.
Experience with IPsec/SSL VPNs for site-to-site and remote access.
Experience in enterprise routing, switching, and security infrastructures.
Ability to troubleshoot multi-vendor networks in production environments.
Willingness to participate in on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network architectures (LAN/WAN/Wireless/Data Center).
Administer FortiGate/Juniper SRX firewalls; manage policies, NAT, routing, VPNs.
Configure Cisco L2/L3 switching; manage VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, inter-VLAN routing.
Deploy and optimize Cisco and Ruckus wireless networks (controller-based and cloud-managed).
Deploy and support F5 Load Balancers; DNS and NTP considerations; LTM/GTM a plus.
Implement dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and IPsec/SSL VPNs.
Operate DNS services in an Anycast environment; document networks thoroughly.
Collaborate with security, systems, cloud, and application teams.
