Job summary

AGE Solutions LLC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for Corporate Enterprise Network (WAN) responsibilities for a DoD customer. The role covers design, configuration, installation, testing, and sustainment of global WAN infrastructure, ensuring secure connectivity between DoD facilities, networks, and cloud services.

The position requires DoD clearance, IAT III, CCNP-E, and 5 years of IT/telecom experience, with travel up to 40% and both CONUS/OCONUS assignments.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressive IT experience with DoD networks.
• High School Diploma required.
• US Citizenship and DoD clearance required (Top Secret or Secret with favorable Tier 5/SSBI).
• IAT Level III baseline certification and CCNP-E.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, install, test, and maintain enterprise WAN routers, switches, firewalls, and related infrastructure.
• Support WAN connectivity across classified and unclassified networks; connect to DISN, NIPRNet, SIPRNet.
• Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, MPLS, multicast, QoS, IPv4/IPv6.
• Engineer and maintain Cisco platforms and Check Point firewall technologies.
• Implement network refreshes, replacements, and modernization.
• Provide Tier III/IV troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Provide 24x7x365 on-call engineering support as required.
• Conduct site surveys, installations, and implementation activities.
• Support DISA circuit provisioning, testing, activation, and troubleshooting.
• Develop change requests, test plans, rollback procedures, and network diagrams.
• Apply DISA STIGs and cybersecurity requirements to devices.
• Evaluate capacity, utilization, performance, and reliability improvements.
• Support cloud connectivity and secure network integration.
• Conduct lab testing, evaluations, and interoperability validation.
• Provide technical support to WAN Management and NOC teams.
• Travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations for installation or troubleshooting.
