Job summary

SOSi seeks a Senior Network Engineer to join the Honolulu team at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, supporting over 5,000 users across the Pacific. You will design and secure LAN/WAN and C2-capable networks, coordinate with DoD teams, and ensure STIG compliance while delivering resilient mission-critical IT infrastructure.

The role requires DoD environment experience, CCNP or higher, and the ability to work across 24/7 operations if needed.

Qualifications

• Active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Networking, or related field.
• 8+ years of enterprise DoD network engineering experience.
• 5+ years experience in Layer-3 networking.
• Extensive experience with Cisco routing and switching.
• DoD STIGs compliance knowledge.
• CCNP Enterprise or Security certification preferred.
• NSA CSfC familiarity considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement LAN/WAN architectures to support data integration plans.
• Develop CSfC-capability packages and encryption methods as approved.
• Configure and troubleshoot eBGP routing within a Palo Alto environment.
• Provide Tier-3 support for network issues and coordinate with ESD and Systems teams.
• Ensure security and DoD STIG compliance across networks and devices.
• Prepare and review solution diagrams, LOIs, and implementation timelines.
• Interact with circuit providers and manage required circuit actions.
• Document configurations and standardize network procedures.
