Job summary

SOSi in Honolulu seeks a Systems Engineer to support Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, delivering C2 IT solutions for 5,000+ users across the Pacific.You will help design and maintain enterprise infrastructure and a private cloud, lead strategic upgrades, and ensure ZTA and data-centric security alignment.

You will collaborate with senior DoD personnel, present executive briefings, mentor Systems Operations staff, and participate in 24/7 operations when required.

Qualifications

• Active in-scope TOP SECRET clearance with SCI Eligibility and US Passport.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering or similar plus 5+ years in enterprise IT or 9+ years in DoD environments.
• 5+ years server administration with Microsoft or Linux enterprise services (Exchange, AD, DNS, DHCP, SQL).
• DoD 8570 IAT-II compliant (Security+ CE, CCNA, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP).
• Server Admin certification at hire and Microsoft RHCSA within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess, design, and roadmap ZTA solution implementations or integrations.
• Assess, design, and roadmap Data Centric Security solutions.
• Provide technical recommendations and briefings for ZTA initiatives and new capabilities.
• Interact with vendors, other agencies, and Coalition Partners for the program.
• Lead complex projects including upgrades, integrations, and other installations for Enterprise capabilities.
