Job summary

Systems Plus, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to support DoD DHA networked facilities in the Pacific Region from Hawaii or Alaska. The role emphasizes complex LAN/WAN/WLAN networks, security, and high-tempo mission support.

You will collaborate with government staff and contractors to implement, troubleshoot, and optimize network infrastructure, guided by DoD standards and SolarWinds monitoring tools. A Secret clearance is required and CCNP/CISSP are preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering, or related discipline; five years related experience, or 10 years progression via technical school.
• IAM Level III per DoD 8570.01-M is required.
• CCNP and CISSP certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Supports the DoD DHA networked facilities' medical mission in the Pacific Region.
• Identifies and resolves complex LAN/WLAN/WAN problems; researches network issues with management tools.
• Installs, configures, documents, and troubleshoots LAN/WLAN/WAN equipment for DHA facilities in the Pacific Region.
• Acts as regional point of contact for network issues, configs, and multi-protocol routing; interfaces with government staff and contractors.
• Advises government staff and contractors to ensure LAN/WLAN/WAN support the MHS mission and performance.
• Leads network specialists and external teams to resolve LAN/WLAN/WAN issues.
• Resolves issues with routing protocols using diagnostics and SolarWinds, ARMIS, and Ansible.
