Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Senior Network Engineer Advisor to transform DoD IT architecture. You will design and support voice, video, RF, and data networks, ensuring secure and reliable communications across LAN/WAN and VPNs.

You will build topology, document deployments, and lead investigations for upgrades. You will need TS/SCI with Polygraph, 6+ years of related experience, and IAT Level 2 certification or higher.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a field applicable to this work.
• 6+ years of related experience.
• 8570 compliance (IAT Level 2) or must achieve by security indoctrination date with CE as needed.
• TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop voice, video, RF, and data networks.
• Engineer LAN/WAN/site-to-site solutions; manage VPNs and firewalls.
• Investigate, evaluate and propose network upgrades to improve capability and reliability.
• Create network topologies and documentation from requirements to deployment.
• Perform network studies for bandwidth, security, and reliability.
