Job summary

Insight Global Healthcare is seeking a Network Engineer II to support a healthcare client in Ohio. You will design, implement, and maintain campus network infrastructure, wired and wireless, with a focus on refreshing the network every few years.

The role requires hands-on Cisco Catalyst experience, routing/switching, and strong TCP/IP knowledge. On-call rotation and collaboration with vendors and IT teams are integral to ensuring uptime and performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
5+ years of experience in Network Engineering.
Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst networks.
Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, VLANs, wireless, and security standards.
Knowledge of TCP/IP and routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF).
On-call availability as part of a rotation.
Willingness to coordinate with vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain campus-wide wired and wireless network hardware and software.
Assist with evaluation and recommendations of technical solutions, from local to enterprise deployments.
Resolve network performance issues, manage outages, and provide escalation support for technical teams.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal IT teams to deliver projects and maintain system uptime.
