Job summary

TidalHealth is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and operate a large-scale healthcare network spanning multiple hospitals, ambulatory sites, and data centers. This role supports ~30,000 devices across 3 hospitals and 90 sites within a 90-mile radius.

Required: Bachelor's in CS/IT, 7+ years in enterprise network engineering, Cisco networking (Nexus/ACI), routing protocols, and healthcare IT familiarity. Monday–Friday day shift; evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Seven (7) years of progressive experience in enterprise network engineering.
• Experience with Cisco networking technologies in large environments.
• Familiarity with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and WANs.
• Healthcare IT environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, optimize, and support a large-scale healthcare network.
• Provide expert-level support for routed/switching, data centers, WAN, wireless, and UC.
• Ensure high availability, security, and performance in a regulated healthcare setting.
