Job summary

IPSecure, Inc. seeks a Cybersecurity Network Engineer to design, integrate, configure and test advanced lab-based network infrastructure in an onsite San Antonio environment. The role emphasizes secure enterprise network builds and validation before production or mission systems.

The ideal candidate has an active TS/SCI clearance, extensive Cisco ACI/SDN experience, and hands-on routing, switching, and firewall engineering. Lab/testing focus with security hardening and Zero Trust guidance.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Cybersecurity, IS, Engineering, or related discipline.
Equivalent experience may be substituted.
Security+ and CCNA certifications are required.
10+ years of network-related experience.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, integrate, secure, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure in lab/test environments.
Engineer and support Cisco ACI architectures including APIC controllers, leaf/spine, tenants and VRFs.
Support SDN technologies and network automation for centralized management and security.
Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches (L2/L3).
Develop IP addressing schemes, VLANs, VRFs, routing domains, and segmentation strategies.
Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, and static routing.
Engineer enterprise firewall and security solutions, including policies, NAT, VPN, and access control.
Analyze network traffic with packet captures and monitoring tools.
Conduct cybersecurity hardening per security requirements and standards.
Identify vulnerabilities and remediation opportunities.
Support Zero Trust and defense-in-depth architectures.
Build and maintain representative lab/test environments.
Create network diagrams, IP plans, configuration docs, tests, and engineering artifacts.
Perform configuration testing prior to production deployment.
Troubleshoot complex connectivity across routers, switches, firewalls, virtual networks, servers, and apps.
Coordinate with cybersecurity, systems, virtualization, applications, and engineering teams.
Support change/config/documentation and engineering review processes.
