Job summary

Que Technology Group, Inc. seeks a motivated Network Engineer to join a mixed team of civilian leads and contractors responsible for networking for two unique operational customers.

The role involves configuring systems at the contractor building and remote sites, supporting firewalls and crypto equipment, and planning for cloud-enabled environments. This position requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 12 years of network engineering experience, DoD 8570 IAT Level I, Cisco and Arista

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 12+ years of network engineering experience in programs/contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
• IAT Level I certification (DoD 8570.01-M compliant).
• Cisco and Arista configuration and sustainment experience.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to OCONUS locations.
• Willingness to be on-call for operational systems once fully onboarded.

Responsibilities

• Configure systems in contractor building and support fielding of new equipment, both in person and remotely.
• Provide ongoing networking support, including firewalls and crypto equipment.
• Work from a primary seat at the Columbia contractor building while spending significant time on site at NBP 320.
• Monitor team chat and email for updates and work through Jira tickets.
• Work in the lab on new systems and upgrade configurations.
• Help design new systems and architect new environments as the program transitions to containerized and cloud environments.
• Travel occasionally to OCONUS locations.
• Provide on-call support for operational systems once fully onboarded.

Que Technology Group, Inc., is seeking a motivated Network Engineer to join a mixed team of civilian leads and contractors responsible for networking for two unique operational customers. The team's equipment is located in NBP 320 and at remote locations. As the program moves from dated monolithic systems toward containerized and, where applicable, cloud environments, this role will play a growing part in designing new systems and architecting new environments.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Configure systems in our contractor building and support the fielding of new equipment, both in person and remotely
• Provide ongoing networking support, including firewalls and crypto equipment
• Work from a primary seat at our Columbia contractor building while spending significant time on site at NBP 320

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required, with at least twelve (12) years of Network Engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• IAT Level I certification (DoD 8570.01-M compliant).
• Cisco and Arista configuration and sustainment experience.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, as needed, to OCONUS locations.
• Willingness to be on-call for operational systems once fully onboarded.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cisco Call Manager experience.
• Cisco ASA firewall experience.
• Experience automating repetitive tasks such as inventory collection and compliance requirements.
• Experience working in cloud, hyper-converged infrastructure, and containerized environments.
• Familiarity with LatteArt and supporting STE/STN and SSP compliance for network devices.

Security Clearance:

Active Top Secret clearance with a Polygraph
