Job summary

Que Technology Group is seeking a Senior System Engineer to support daily operations for the Intelligence Community at Fort Meade, MD. You will document design, implementation and maintenance for new systems and upgrades, drafting reviews and transition plans as needed.

The role requires a BS in engineering with extensive experience, strong Cisco/networking, Linux/Windows administration, virtualization, and cloud concepts, plus effective cross-functional collaboration using JIRA and Confluence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with extensive experience.
• Deep knowledge of communications technologies, virtualization, and SIGINT IT platforms.
• Experience designing and interpreting system and network diagrams.

Que Technology Group is searching for a Senior System Engineer to support daily operations within the Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the documentation of all phases of the design, implementation, and maintenance for the deployment of new systems or upgrading current systems to FS sites (e.g. drafting preliminary design reviews, mission transition plans).

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a qualified engineering field with at least 15 year's of experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Deep understanding of multiple communications technologies, virtualization, systems architecture, and infrastructure for IT systems and SIGINT platforms.
• Proficient in designing, interpreting, and modifying System and Network Engineering Drawings (Visio, Adobe)
• Expertise in system and network administration across diverse platforms, including Linux and Windows environments.
• Extensive experience in network and data processing system integration, hardware and software configuration, deployment, and sustainment.
• Understanding/experience in Cisco networking, including routers, switches, and security protocols.
• Skilled in network and data processing system integration, including rack and stack installation, cabling, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts and best practices.
• The ability to create detailed system documentation and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (JIRA and Confluence).
• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Sharepoint.

Security Clearance

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required
