Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Network Development Manager to lead a global team building, deploying, and scaling Amazon networks across multiple datacenters.

You will manage Network Development Engineers and drive topology strategy for efficient traffic, capacity and reliability. Responsibilities include operational excellence, incident management, recruiting and mentoring, plus delivering on strategic goals for the Network Fabric teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience
• 5+ years of people management experience
• 3+ years of network engineering experience, either as a manager or IC

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence and ensure standardization across the network team.
• Lead incident/change management efforts for complex networks across global datacenters.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Network Development Engineers.
• Define and deliver strategic goals for the Topology/Network Fabric teams.
• Oversee data center network design, capacity planning, and automation initiatives.
