Job summary

Amazon's AWS Core Networking team is seeking a Sr. Network Development Manager to lead a global Topology network fabric team responsible for design, delivery, and reliability across multiple datacenters in the Seattle area.

You will own strategic goals, drive operational excellence, incident/change management, and responsible for hiring, mentoring, and automating network operations in a fast‑growing cloud environment serving AWS customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in computer science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• 5+ years people management experience or relevant leadership experience, managing a team of 8+ individual contributors.
• 3+ years of past experience with network engineering either as a manager or individual contributor.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence across the Networking team with standardized processes.
• Own metrics and analytics for network capacity, incidents, and change management.
• Lead recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring of engineers and topologies teams.
• Define and deliver strategic goals for the Topology team and wider network fabric.
