Meta is seeking a Network Deployment & Support Engineering lead to plan and execute deployments and migrations for Meta's AI backbone network.

You will own deployment planning, implementation, and scaling across edge, backbone, and data center infrastructure, collaborating with Network, Data Center, Edge, and Planning teams. Travel 10%–30% is expected, and the role emphasizes leadership and mentoring of engineers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Network Engineering, including hands‑on responsibility for planning, building, deployment or migrating production network environments.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise and carrier class routing, switching, and optical transport platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience interacting with vendors and external parties to drive projects to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical strategy, architecture, and execution for your team’s projects within Edge Network Services on network deployments.
• Provide hands‑on technical contributions on large scale complex programs, demonstrating domain expertise and technical impact.
• Drive strategic planning with roadmaps that support business growth and transformation.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance in all deliverables and drive quality improvements.
