Job summary

Meta is seeking an Optical Network Deployment & Support Engineer to plan and execute network deployments for a leading optical backbone. You will own deployment planning, implementation, and scaling of Meta's AI network infrastructure, with hands-on contributions across design, migration, and troubleshooting.

You will lead technical deployments within Edge Network Services, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor newer engineers while traveling 10% to 30% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in CS/CE or related field.
• 6+ years of network engineering with production networks.
• 3+ years in optical network engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment, architecture, and execution for ENS projects.
• Provide hands-on design, deployment, migration, and troubleshooting at scale.
• Collaborate across Network Engineering, Data Center, and Planning teams.
