Job summary

KBR, Inc. seeks a Sr Network Specialist to lead transport network design, routing protocols, and hybrid cloud integration for DoD/IC environments. The role requires active TS/SCI clearance, a Master’s degree, and 7+ years in IT architecture with cross‑domain experience.

On-site in VA, this position offers a competitive package and opportunities to influence defense systems and national security technology programs. Travel is minimal and collaboration with senior leaders is essential.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Master’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 7+ years IT experience in architecture design, development, or infrastructure.
• 7+ years DoD/IC or related industry experience with SAP/SCI environment, recent preferred.
• Experience developing enterprise architecture frameworks and cloud strategies.
• Familiar with APIs, microservices, and cross-domain patterns.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills for leadership audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and define system architecture for data transfers, cross domain solutions, and workload integrations.
• Design, implement, and maintain hybrid cloud integration with multiple public cloud providers.
• Support current systems and manage complex problems with in-depth analysis.
• Apply communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills to maximize IT investments.
• Assist in planning large-scale projects through vendor comparison and cost studies.
• Support implementation, configuration, operations and maintenance of multiple systems.
