Job summary

KBR's Defense & Intel team seeks an experienced Senior Solution Architect to drive technical strategy and design for government opportunities. You will lead cross-functional efforts with BD, capture, and proposal teams to craft innovative, customer-focused solutions.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in defense/IC, strong leadership, and expertise in cyber, MBSE, DevSecOps, and cloud architectures to shape proposals and win strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; 10+ years of prior experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities to coordinate internal and external sources.
• Experience leading technical solutioning with business development and capture teams in defense/IC markets.
• Proven ability to derive customer solutions meeting technical objectives, interacting with SMEs and stakeholders.
• Understanding of Cybersecurity, Systems of Systems, Software, and Agile engineering across DoD and IC, including MBSE, DevSecOps, and Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Engage in customer shaping, requirements gathering, and proposal support.
• Collaborate with BD, Capture, and Proposal teams to craft technically sound solutions that win.
• Lead development of technical volumes for proposals, ensuring RFP compliance.
• Translate customer objectives into innovative technical solutions within cost and schedule constraints.
• Conduct market research, articulate discriminators, and develop value propositions.
• Develop artifacts such as system designs, roadmaps, and implementation plans to support proposals.
• Participate in reviews to refine content and align with win themes.
• Incorporate emerging technologies into solution designs to boost competitiveness.
• Lead and write technical proposals, whitepapers, and collaterals; respond to RFIs and market surveys.
• Provide BOEs for technical solutions.
