Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 7+ years IT experience in architecture design, development, or infrastructure.
• 7+ years DoD/IC or related industry experience with SAP/SCI environment, recent preferred.
• Experience developing enterprise architecture frameworks and cloud strategies.
• Familiar with APIs, microservices, and cross-domain patterns.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills for leadership audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

KBR seeks an Sr Network Specialist to provide technical guidance and direction for transport network design and engineering, network routing protocols, advanced virtual networking technologies for missions to support operations.

Additionally the Sr Network Specialist will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Design and define system architecture for new or existing systems, particularly for data
• transfers, cross domain solutions, and workload integrations.
• Design, implement, and maintain hybrid cloud integration with multiple public cloud service providers.
• Support current systems / manage complex problems where analysis of situation requires in-depth evaluation
• Apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of Information Technology (IT) system investments.
• Assist in the planning for large-scale projects through vendor comparison and cost studies
• Support implementation, configuration, operations and maintenance of multiple systems

Work Environment:

• Location: On-site, JBAB and Lorton, VA
• Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-25%
• Working Hours: Standard

Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Master’s Degree
• 7 years of IT experience with a focus on architecture design, development or infrastructure.
• 7 years of relevant DoD/IC or relevant industry work experience with no less than 2 years experience in a SAP and/or SCI environment, with at least one year of that total being within the past 5 years.
• Proven experience in developing and implanting enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
• Deep understanding of cloud computing platforms and architectures
• Familiarity with integration patterns and technologies (e.g., APIs, microservices, message queues, cross domain solutions
• Strong organizational, documentation, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing presentation materials for leadership audiences.

Scheduled Weekly Hours:

40hrs

Basic Compensation:

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Salary compensation is $160,000-$172,000K.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
