Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer to design, engineer, and deploy secure network solutions in support of national security missions.

The role requires active TS/SCI with polygraph and a relevant degree, with hands-on experience across Cisco data center, WAN/LAN, and client access technologies. Responsibilities include technical leadership, securing collaboration and data protection, maintaining enterprise infrastructure, and ensuring high availability of critical networks.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Cisco Datacenter, WAN, LAN, and Client Access technologies.
• Experience with Cisco ACI environments.
• Experience with IOS-XE and NX-OS.
• Knowledge of MACsec, HSRP, VRF, VPC, ACLs, BGP, and EIGRP.
• Experience supporting FTD and ASA firewalls and VPN concentrators.
• Understanding of high-availability network technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and deploy network solutions supporting mission requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across network and systems engineering teams.
• Implement secure collaboration and data protection technologies.
• Support the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network performance and connectivity issues.
• Develop and maintain secure, highly available network architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technical solutions.
