Job summary

KBR is seeking a Network Engineer to design, deploy, and secure mission-critical network infrastructure for national security projects. This role requires TS/SCI with polygraph and extensive Cisco expertise.

You will lead cross-functional teams, implement secure networking solutions, and support enterprise WAN/LAN, data center, and VPN environments in a dedicated, on-site Virginia location.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of experience; additional experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Recent experience with Cisco Datacenter, WAN, LAN, and Client Access technologies.
• Experience with MACsec, HSRP, VRF, VPC, ACLs, BGP, and EIGRP.
• Experience building, deploying, and maintaining Cisco ACI environments.
• Recent experience with IOS-XE and NX-OS.
• Recent experience supporting FTD and ASA firewalls and VPN concentrators.
• Demonstrated understanding of high-availability network technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and deploy network solutions supporting mission requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across network and systems engineering teams.
• Implement secure collaboration and data protection technologies.
• Support the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network performance and connectivity issues.
• Develop and maintain secure, highly available network architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technical solutions.
• Support technology modernization and infrastructure enhancement initiatives.
