Job summary

KBR Defense & Intel is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead technical solution design for government opportunities, translating customer needs into winning proposals and artifacts. The role requires a TS clearance, a bachelor’s in a technical field with 10+ years of experience, and a track record in defense/IC.

MBSE, DevSecOps, and cloud architectures are valued. Location: multiple sites with travel 0-20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; 10+ years of experience preferred.
• Strong leadership capabilities to engage internal/external sources for clear, concise solutions.
• Experience leading technical solutioning with business development and capture teams in defense/IC markets.
• Understanding of Cybersecurity, System of Systems, Software, Agile Engineering (MBSE, DevSecOps, Cloud).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with BD, Capture, and Proposal teams to craft winning, technically sound solutions.
• Lead development of technical volumes for proposals; write, review, and edit content for RFPs.
• Translate customer objectives into innovative technical solutions addressing mission challenges within budget/schedule.
• Produce artifacts including system designs, roadmaps, and implementation plans to support proposals.
• Lead and write technical proposals and whitepapers; develop collaterals for technical solutions.
• Provide responses to RFIs and government market surveys; generate BOEs.
