Job summary

Semper Valens Solutions seeks an experienced Senior Network Architect to support PM IS&A and Army AI/ML initiatives at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. You will lead design and modernization of complex DoD network architectures supporting Army intelligence systems.

The role requires strong DoD policy knowledge, enterprise monitoring skills, and the ability to brief senior leadership on risks and modernization strategies. Travel is possible <25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree in a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience may substitute for the above requirements.
• Experience in DoD environments and architecture frameworks is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and maintain current and future-state network architectures for Army intelligence systems.
• Produce architecture products that comply with DoDAF and EA standards.
• Monitor and analyze network performance using enterprise monitoring tools to identify bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with service providers to optimize network performance across environments.
• Design scalable network solutions to improve performance, resiliency, and availability.
• Develop specifications, contingency plans, and alternate routing strategies for mission continuity.
• Partner with PEOs, ARCYBER, systems engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into modernized networks.
• Provide leadership and brief recommendations to senior government and military leadership.
• Support integration of emerging technologies while ensuring cybersecurity and DoD standards.
