Job summary

Semper Valens Solutions in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, seeks a Senior Network Architect to design and modernize DoD intelligence network architectures across DODIN-A. You will lead architecture projects, ensure DoDAF compliance, and collaborate with DoD stakeholders to deliver resilient, secure network solutions for mission critical Army intelligence programs.

Travel up to 25% and eligibility for SCI access are preferred; the role offers referral and sign-on incentives and a collaborative

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in enterprise network architecture within DoD environments.
• Ability to design for DoDAF and EA standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication for leadership briefs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and maintain current (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) network architectures for Army intelligence systems.
• Produce architecture products compliant with DoDAF and EA standards.
• Monitor and analyze network performance to identify bottlenecks and latency issues.
• Collaborate with service providers to optimize traffic and performance across environments.
• Design, evaluate, and recommend scalable network solutions for resiliency and availability.
• Develop technical specifications and contingency plans for mission continuity.
• Partner with government and military stakeholders to translate requirements into modernized networks.
• Provide leadership and brief architecture recommendations to senior leadership.
• Support integration of emerging technologies ensuring DoD cybersecurity and standards compliance.
