Job summary

Semper Valens Solutions is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, implement, and deploy AI/ML models, agentic AI workflows, and analytics across Army modernization initiatives. You will collaborate with government personnel to deliver practical AI solutions, maintain data pipelines, and provide hands-on mentorship in a security-cleared environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on technical contribution, cloud-native practices, and durable knowledge transfer to strengthen internal capabilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of AI/ML solution development and delivery.
• 1+ year with Generative AI or multi-agent systems.
• 2+ years of hands-on Python development.
• 1+ year building agentic AI solutions with leading frameworks.
• Experience building ML workflows, data pipelines, and analytics solutions.
• Experience supporting AI/ML workloads in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Ability to translate mission requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy AI/ML models, analytics solutions, and agentic AI apps.
• Collaborate with government engineers, analysts, and stakeholders.
• Design and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and RAG systems.
• Build Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions using LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, Strands, CrewAI, LangGraph.
• Integrate LLMs with mission data sources, vector databases, memory systems, and orchestration frameworks.
• Support cloud-native AI practices including MLOps, AIOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and responsible AI.
• Produce documentation, sustainment plans, and transition materials for long-term ownership.
• Deliver technical coaching and knowledge transfer to government personnel.
• Partner with stakeholders to align AI capabilities with operational needs.
