Job summary

QED Systems, LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer, Network Architect to join our team at APG, MD. The role focuses on documenting and maintaining DoDAF-aligned network architectures for Army intelligence systems, while identifying bottlenecks and proposing scalable improvements.

The candidate will collaborate with PEOs, ARCYBER, and cross-functional teams to ensure secure, high-availability networks. A Top Secret with SCI eligibility clearance and 12+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Electrical, Electronic, System, Software or Computer Engineering; Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least twelve (12) years of related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Map, document, and maintain accurate As-Is and To-Be network architectures per DoDAF and EA standards.
• Identify bandwidth, latency, and bottlenecks in tactical and strategic intelligence networks.
• Design, test, and propose scalable network enhancements with contingency plans and specs for upgrades.
• Collaborate with PEOs, ARCYBER, hardware engineering teams, and intelligence stakeholders to translate constraints into requirements.
