Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Network Administration experience.
• Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance.
• BA/BS degree – may substitute additional years of experience.
• Must possess a current CCNA certification.
• Must meet DOW 8140 requirements and be eligible for IAT level II access; ITIL V4 Foundation within six months.
• Knowledge of routing/switching protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, STP, ISAKMP, ESP, SIP, SCCP).
• Knowledge of HAIPE encryption devices and Cisco IOS features.
• Ability to configure/troubleshoot DMVPN and GRE tunnels, IPsec, and Cisco VoIP with CUCM.
• Team player with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with network staff to ensure smooth operation of software and systems.
• Define business requirements and system goals with senior stakeholders.
• Assist Engineers with network architecture designs for new or existing systems.
• Assist with network development and design work.
• Participate in upgrading operating systems and network enhancements.
• Provide input for documentation on networks.
• Conduct tests to ensure networks meet user requirements.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve network problems.
• Maintain network specifications, I/O processes, and hardware/software compatibility.
• Stay current on relevant technology as assigned.
• Know hardware, software, and equipment; apply automation techniques.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
