Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a senior network engineer in Hawaii to support DoD/DoW information sharing programs. You will design and optimize network architecture, perform advanced routing/switching tasks, and drive reliable operations with a dispersed team supporting combatant commands.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), CCNA certification, and IAT II compliance within six months. Travel and fast-paced collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years of network experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• CCNA certification required; CCNP preferred.
• Knowledge of routing/switching protocols and Cisco IOS hardware/features.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with network staff to ensure reliable operation of systems.
• Define business requirements and system goals with stakeholders.
• Design network architecture for new or existing systems.
• Perform complex network development and design work.
• Upgrade operating systems and design network enhancements.
• Document network changes and test for user requirements.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve network problems.
• Provide training and guidance on networks.
