Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology invites qualified candidates for a Senior Network Engineer role at the US BICES-X central hub in Colorado Springs. You will design, implement, and secure network infrastructure, ensuring connectivity to remote sites via VPN while supporting mission-critical applications.

The position demands a TS/SCI clearance, 5+ years of network engineering, CCNA and Security+ CE, and hands-on experience with DMVPN, GRE, EIGRP/BGP, and HAIPE devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and technical experience.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance and 5+ years of network engineering experience.
• CCNA or equivalent networking certification and Security+ CE or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel and hold a valid passport.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain network security policies and firewall configurations.
• Maintain high availability and performance of central service node networks.
• Design, configure, and manage secure VPN connections to remote sites.
• Administer network software including Cisco Call Manager, SolarWinds and NPS.
• Diagnose and resolve network issues and participate in capacity planning.
• Document configurations, diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures.
