Job summary

Merit Brass is seeking a Network Administrator to manage day-to-day network operations, security, and IT infrastructure across the enterprise. You will work with routers, switches, VPNs, and security tools to ensure reliable performance and rapid incident response.

The role emphasizes proactive monitoring, disaster recovery planning, ConnectWise usage for remote support, and collaboration with IT staff. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years' experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in IT/CS.
• 3+ years of experience in network administration or similar.
• Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, VPNs).
• Experience with ConnectWise RMM/PSA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve complex PC, server, and networking issues via onsite, phone, and email support.
• Install, upgrade, configure, and maintain network hardware and software.
• Monitor network performance and optimize for reliability.
• Implement security policies using Microsoft Defender for Business and monitor alerts.
• Use ConnectWise RMM/PSA for ticketing and remote support.
• Provide user training and maintain network logs.
