Job summary

United Launch Alliance (ULA) seeks a Network Administrator 3 to manage and optimize our enterprise network infrastructure in a senior capacity. You will support LAN/WAN, wireless, and security environments, ensuring high availability and robust performance.

The role emphasizes hands-on deployment, troubleshooting, and collaboration with engineering partners to design and maintain secure network solutions aligned with mission requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting, administering, and optimizing enterprise-class network environments.
• Strong TCP/IP knowledge: routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, QoS, multicast.
• Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues in mission-critical environments.
• Experience with high-availability, multi-site networks and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer, optimize, and continually improve the enterprise network infrastructure.
• Lead network enhancements and coordinate with cross-functional teams and engineering partners.
• Design, deploy, and maintain secure, resilient network solutions aligned with objectives.
• Proactive monitoring, performance tuning, and strategic planning for reliability.
• Document configurations, diagrams, and change records; ensure operational continuity.
