Job summary

United Launch Alliance (ULA) is seeking a Network Administrator 3 in Denver to serve as a senior resource for enterprise network infrastructure. You will support complex LAN/WAN, wireless, and security environments, ensuring high availability and scalability.

The role leads network enhancements, collaborates with engineering partners, and helps design, deploy, and maintain secure solutions aligned with ULA's mission-critical needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field from an accredited college or university.
• Four years of exempt work experience may be used to satisfy the degree requirement.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting, administering, and optimizing enterprise-class network environments.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, QoS, and multicast technologies.
• Experience deploying and maintaining enterprise networking equipment (switches/routers/firewalls/wireless).
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues in mission-critical environments.
• Experience with high-availability, multi-site networks and secure connectivity (IPsec/SSL VPNs).
• Strong security concepts and defense-in-depth methodologies; OSPF/BGP expertise.
• Experience with Cisco ecosystems and next-gen firewalls; security appliance management.
• Proficiency with network monitoring/diagnostic tools; SolarWinds, Wireshark, NetFlow.

Responsibilities

• Senior technical resource for administration, optimization, and improvement of enterprise network infrastructure.
• Provide advanced support across LAN, WAN, wireless, and network security environments.
• Lead network enhancements, troubleshoot escalated issues, and collaborate with engineering partners.
• Contribute to design, deployment, and maintenance of secure, resilient network solutions.
• Monitor, tune performance, and plan capacity to support mission-critical operations.
