Job summary

Attentive is the AI marketing platform powering 1:1 personalization across SMS, email, and other channels. We’re looking for a Senior NetSuite Engineer to own the architecture, scalability, and evolution of our Financial Technology platform, blending strategic design with hands-on development in a high-impact role.

You’ll drive end-to-end NetSuite solutions (SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, OneWorld), lead complex system redesigns, build integrations, and establish release management and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience implementing, configuring, and scaling NetSuite environments
• Strong hands-on expertise with SuiteScript (1.0/2.x), SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, integrations/APIs, and NetSuite data model
• Hands-on experience with Zone Advanced Billing (ZAB) including usage-based billing, rating, invoicing workflows
• Experience designing scalable multi-system architectures within NetSuite ecosystem
• Experience leading end-to-end system ownership from architecture to deployment
• Deep understanding of order-to-cash / quote-to-cash in NetSuite and related systems

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the end-to-end architecture of NetSuite and financial system ecosystem
• Establish a multi-quarter architectural vision balancing flexibility, scalability, and simplicity
• Identify systemic risks and evolve the platform to prevent constraints
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design solutions and deliver technical implementations
• Set the standard for clean architecture and scalable design
• Identify and reduce tech debt and fragile implementations
• Design and develop NetSuite solutions using declarative configuration and programmatic development
• Lead complex system redesigns (Zone Advanced Billing, intercompany, OneWorld structures)
• Design, implement, and support integrations between NetSuite and other enterprise apps
• Formalize release management, Sandbox strategy, and CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot NetSuite issues ensuring stability and performance across configs
