Job summary

Attentive is seeking a Senior NetSuite Engineer to own the architecture, scalability, and long-term evolution of our Financial Technology platform. You will define how our ERP ecosystem scales with the business and contribute to implementation, setting direction and driving execution.

This role blends hands-on development with strategic architecture, 60/40 split, and requires experience with NetSuite OneWorld, SuiteScript, and integrations.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years implementing, configuring, and scaling NetSuite in complex SaaS
• Hands-on with SuiteScript (1.0/2.x), SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, APIs, and NetSuite data model
• Experience with Zone Advanced Billing (usage-based, billing/invoicing) and revenue workflows
• Nice to have: NetSuite certifications (SuiteFoundation, Administrator, SuiteCloud Developer, ERP Consultant)
• Nice to have: Experience building/integrating with Boomi
• Proven track record delivering scalable NetSuite architectures across systems
• Experience leading end-to-end ownership from design to support
• Strong understanding of order-to-cash/quote-to-cash in NetSuite and connected systems
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into scalable NetSuite solutions
• Deep understanding of NetSuite OneWorld multi-subsidiary design and intercompany processes
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration across finance, operations, and tech
• Champion AI and automation integrations for efficiency

Responsibilities

• Define and drive end-to-end architecture of NetSuite and financial system ecosystem
• Establish a multi-quarter architectural vision balancing flexibility, scalability, and simplicity
• Identify systemic risks and evolve platform to prevent constraints
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design solutions and deliver implementations
• Set standard for clean architecture, automation, and scalable system design
• Identify and reduce tech debt and fragile implementations
• Design and develop NetSuite solutions using declarative config and programmatic development
• Lead complex system redesigns (Zone Advanced Billing, pricing, OneWorld)
• Design, implement, and support NetSuite integrations with other ERP apps
• Formalize NetSuite release management, Sandbox strategy, CI/CD
• Troubleshoot NetSuite issues ensuring stability and performance
