Job summary

Itminds in Ashburn, VA seeks an experienced storage engineer to develop and maintain NetApp storage implementations and perform pre/post configuration. The role includes installing and upgrading SAN switches, and handling HSD and LUN allocations for Hitachi VSP and VMAX storage.

The candidate will manage Linux servers supporting backup solutions and migrate Linux/Windows systems to VMware, while building apps and databases across platforms and troubleshooting diverse servers using network trace

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering with two years of related experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain NetApp Storage implementation and pre/post configuration.
• Install and upgrade SAN switches. Perform HSD and LUN creation and allocation for Hitachi VSP and VMAX Storage.
• Manage Linux server to protect backup solutions. Migrate Linux and Windows Physical Machine to VMware Environment.
• Build applications on OS Infrastructure & databases on various platforms.
• Manage and troubleshoot various servers and operating systems using Network trace tools.
