Job summary

Motion Recruitment seeks a NetApp Ontap Storage Grid Engineer for a hybrid role in Charlotte, NC with additional sites in Chandler AZ, Irving TX and Des Moines IA. The position is a long-term W2 contract to support file and object storage initiatives.

The candidate will work with senior engineers on complex technology initiatives, act as SME for NetApp Storage Grid and related products, and contribute to automation and high-availability storage operations across data centers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture experience
• Storage Grid, NAS and SAN experience
• PowerShell experience
• Experience with Agile Scrum and datacenter migrations
• Collaborate with teams to document solutions and develop automation

Responsibilities

• This role will work alongside other senior engineers leading complex technology initiatives directly supporting our File and Object space, and assisting with datacenter migration efforts.
• This role will act as a subject matter expert for technology products supporting the File and Object space (NetApp, Storage Grid, Oracle ZFS) .
• Experience with Agile Scrum, infrastructure design, and managing daily operational support is required to be successful in this position.
• Collaborate and consult with key technical experts to document solutions to issues, enhance existing services, and develop automation to provide top-level support for service products.
