Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Engineer - Electrical Testing to perform high‑voltage testing, commissioning, and maintenance across regional/national projects. You will analyze test results, write reports, and mentor technicians on complex electrical systems up to 500 kV.

Qualifications

• NETA Level III or IV certification in good standing.
• 7+ years of hands-on electrical testing in medium/high voltage environments.
• Expert knowledge of NETA MTS and ATS standards.
• Ability to read and interpret one-line, two-line, and P&IDs diagrams.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing up to 500kV.
• Conduct power studies: short circuit, coordination, arc flash and power quality.
• Test and calibrate protective relays (electromechanical to microprocessor).
• Prepare engineering reports with findings and recommendations.
• Mentor Level I/II technicians in the field and lead project teams.
