Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Engineer - Electrical Testing (NETA III/IV) to perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance on electrical power systems up to 500kV. You will conduct power studies, test protective relays, and troubleshoot complex failures, with regional and national travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• NETA Level III or IV certification in good standing.
• 7+ years’ hands-on electrical testing in medium/high voltage environments.
• Ability to read one-line/three-line diagrams, schematics, and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing on electrical power systems and equipment up to 500kV.
• Conduct power system studies including short circuit, coordination, arc flash, and power quality analysis.
• Test and calibrate protective relays and perform insulation resistance, power factor, and related testing.
