Job summary

Team UIS is seeking a Senior NETA Field Service Technician to maintain and test electrical systems for clients, ensuring safety and reliability. You will perform NETA electrical maintenance and acceptance testing, test relays, troubleshoot issues, and support project closures while coordinating field activities.

The role requires NETA II or higher certification, IBEW membership or willingness to join, strong problem solving and communication skills, and a hands-on, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• NETA II or higher certification.
• Member of the IBEW or willing to join.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform NETA electrical maintenance and acceptance testing tasks.
• Test both digital and mechanical relays.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues, both emergency and non-emergency.
• Assist with project management, including work order creation, field file management, and coordination.
• Support project closures by addressing punch lists and additional scopes.
• Provide 24-hour emergency client support.
• Assist in completing detailed testing reports.
