Job summary

Team UIS is seeking a NETA Field Service Technician in Columbus, OH. You will perform NETA electrical maintenance and acceptance testing, test both digital and mechanical relays, troubleshoot issues, and assist with project coordination and reporting.

Qualifications

• NETA II certification or higher required.

• Member of the IBEW or willing to join.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and hands-on approach.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform NETA electrical maintenance and acceptance testing tasks.
• Test both digital and mechanical relays.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues, both emergency and non-emergency.
• Assist with project management, including work order creation and field file management.
• Support project closures by addressing punch lists and additional scopes.
• Provide 24-hour emergency client support.
• Assist in completing detailed testing reports.
