Job summary

Halvik Corp seeks an Applications Programmer (Mid-Level .NET/C# Developer) to build, maintain, and modernize web-based applications supporting FHWA. You will work with the SDLC in an Agile environment, modernizing legacy ASP.NET Webforms to .NET 8-10 and migrating to Azure PaaS.

You will contribute to automated testing with Playwright, design robust solutions, and collaborate with architects and stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performance software across Windows/IIS environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years IT experience with at least 5 years software development.
• 5+ years with C#/.NET, including upgrading frameworks to .NET Core and .NET 8-10.
• 3+ years SQL queries and relational databases with LINQ.
• Experience with Agile SDLC and distributed teams.
• Experience in Azure cloud, IIS/Windows Server.
• Strong written/verbal communication and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all SDLC phases in an Agile environment, from requirements to deployment.
• Design robust, reusable software tools and subsystems.
• Expand automated testing with Playwright for regression and integration tests.
• Review legacy apps and upgrade to modern frameworks (NET 8-10).
• Conduct peer code reviews to ensure quality, security, and design adherence.
• Collaborate with architects, DBAs, and stakeholders to deliver secure IT solutions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and schemas.
• Support deployments and provide occasional after-hours maintenance.
