Job summary

ITCON Services seeks a Senior Developer to lead development, modernization, and operations of Microsoft-based apps and data systems for Federal civilian work. You will design, implement, and maintain web apps, data warehousing, and reports using C#, ASP.NET/.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with Azure infrastructure and DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of information technology experience, including 7+ years in software development.
• 5+ years in enterprise Microsoft web apps using C#, ASP.NET/.NET Framework or .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Advanced experience with SQL Server, stored procedures, database objects, query optimization, data validation, troubleshooting, and production data support.
• Experience with data warehouse, ETL, reporting and analytics, incl. SSRS.
• Experience with Azure infrastructure and services, Windows Server, VMs, cloud migration, monitoring, and security.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or Team Foundation Server for source control, pipelines, and release management.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and environment-specific release configurations.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, change control, release management, and Federal deployment processes.
• Experience implementing change requests, production database changes, defect fixes, and enhancements across environments.
• Experience supporting modernization programs including API and service development, data migration, and cloud adoption.
• Ability to collaborate with architects, security, data teams, and operations to develop modernization roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, deploy, and maintain Microsoft-based web apps, data integrations, databases, and reports.
• Work on Azure infrastructure, DevSecOps, automated testing, release management, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Develop APIs, reusable services, automated deployment, and data conversion solutions for secure, scalable platforms.
• Support modernization efforts including target-state architectures, refactoring, and incremental migration to cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with analysts, QA, DBAs, security, and stakeholders to implement change requests and ensure data quality.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, design reviews, estimation, code reviews, testing, and post-release validation.
