Job summary

Halvik Corp seeks an Automated Software Tester to build, maintain, and modernize test automation frameworks within a .NET and Azure DevOps ecosystem. You will migrate legacy Selenium tests to Playwright, design reusable automation utilities, and integrate test execution into CI/CD pipelines for FHWA platforms.

Collaborate in an Agile environment with developers, BAs, and admins to ensure performance, scalability, and security of federal systems such as TMAS 3.0, HPMS 9.0, PIDP, and ITIP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• Min 7 years IT experience; at least 5 years in software development or test automation.
• 5+ years C# and .NET automation in OO frameworks.
• 3+ years UI automation with Playwright (.NET) and Selenium WebDriver.
• 3+ years SQL queries with MS SQL Server or Oracle.
• 2+ years Agile/Scrum in SDLC; translate user stories to automated tests.
• Experience with JSON/XML and API testing via Playwright API, RestSharp, or HttpClient.
• Proficient in debugging via browser DevTools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain secure, high-performance C# automated test frameworks.
• Participate in all SDLC phases in an Agile environment; refine acceptance criteria and DoD.
• Design reusable tools and testing subsystems for test automation.
• Execute automated functional, integration, regression, cross-browser, and smoke tests.
• Migrate legacy Selenium tests to Playwright (.NET).
• Integrate test execution into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and publish reports.
• Peer-review test scripts and ensure coverage aligns with FHWA guidelines.
• Collaborate with developers, DBAs, solutions architects, and stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive test documentation and interface verification guides.
